The term “gaslighting” originates from a 1938 play titled Gas Light. The play, and subsequent adaptations, follows the story of a husband who manipulates his wife into believing she is losing her mind in order to control her and gain access to her inheritance.[i]
Gaslighting has become Satan’s false witness used as a political tool to lie, “steal, kill, and destroy” you (John 10:10). Gaslighting is propaganda that history proves is successful when people are manipulated into groupthink. Groupthink is the process where independent thought outside the group is severely persecuted by destroying the freedom of individual thought and speech.
Gaslighting has become the lefts favored word for the perception of selling deception. It is the driver for disorientation and mistrust fixated on grossly lying and misleading. Gas lighters understand the inhumanity of this evil process but do not care because their supreme goal is power and control. This Gas-liar/propaganda produces persistent psychological damage through manipulation. This causes the victim to morally rot from within by doubting himself or herself and ultimately losing their sense of truth, virtue, identity, and self-worth. This strips the person of purpose and joy while bringing them into the bondage of a life of uncertainty and fear. It is then the creature can control and destroy you.
Gas-liar/propaganda is especially effective with the clueless, naïve, children, and young people in government schools and colleges. This is because they trust those in authority who “…appear, at first blush, to be righteous, selfless, and pure; but on the inside they are polluted, destroyed in hypocrisy and confusion and lawlessness” (Matthew 23:28). Perhaps the most common and strident trait of Gas-liar/propaganda is the invention of a false narrative by evil principalities to brainwash, attack, belittle, discredit, and/or disempower their victim(s). Rather than basing assertions on facts, evidence, objectivity, and proof, Gas-lairs use accusations that are often blatant lies or gross-exaggerations. This is most effective when Gas-lairs get national fake news to chime in supporting blatant lies. There is nothing uglier than purposeful sinful rebellion against God. We see this in the Biden Democrats as they lie and support liars allege the lies are true. Lies like “the southern border are secure,” “the gay agenda is about love,” “abortion is a choice,” and “climate change is an existential threat to the existence of humankind.” Paul warned us, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect,” (Romans 12:2).
The purpose of today’s Biden/Fascist Gas-lair propaganda is not to persuade, convince, or inform. It is designed to humiliate. Therefore, the less their lies correspond to reality the better. People feel they are being required to remain silent while being taught through social media, fake news and political spin the most obvious lies, i.e. transgenderism, or even worse. Then they feel forced to repeat the lies to satisfy the group. When this happens people lose once and for all their sense of God’s truth, and their purpose in life becomes uncertain and the fall into bondage.
When people assent to obvious lies, they become evil themselves by bowing to the creature of groupthink. This is why Shepherds of America’s churches are so very important. Jesus confirms the necessity of exposing darkness when He told Paul “to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me” (Acts 26:18).
The only tried and true process for leaving groupthink is hearing the reality of the word of God that enables the intercession of the Holy Spirit of Truth. It is then people can lean on truth’s side, everlasting life verses the creature’s side, everlasting death. Hearing the truth of Christ enables His truth in us to spot the lies and expose the various forms of evil manipulation. Without the guidance of God’s vehicle on earth Shepherds and the body of Christ can fall into self-preservation and join the lying groups through their silence like Saul did when he watched Stephen martyred (Acts 7:58-60).
Satan knows societies of powerless liars are easy prey when the truth is silenced. He also knows most people do not fight against evil until it is too late. This is one reason why Paul commanded Christians in Ephesians 5:11&13, “Take no part in the worthless pleasures of evil and darkness, but instead, rebuke and expose them.” The reason is in verse 13 paraphrased, “But all things that are exposed are made self-evident by the light, for whatever is exposed becomes visible for all to see.”
So who stands against these evil principalities with the sword of the Spirit, the word of God that exposes evil? Disciples of Christ are the answer and need to speak the Biblical truth into the public square by exposing the lefts malicious lies, because the vast majority relies on others to do the fighting for them. When this happens, the death camps of Auschwitz are created and millions are destroyed. The body of Christ in America must learn to stand and warn the world of their wicked ways, Ezekiel 33, knowing they are the verbal vehicle with the power of Christ (Acts 1:8), the Holy Spirit “…because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.” (Romans 8:27).
Truthfully, if we rebuke and expose evil, we are on the side of Christ and standing “…fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and we will not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage,” (Galatians 5:1paraphased). My God Bless you to expose darkness!
