The spirit of the antichrist called Marxism today is sponsored by the progressive party, who is running America’s government. Their demonic quest is total control over our lives by depriving Americans of every freedom. Their strategy includes killing God’s design of family by replacing father and mother with same sex perversion. They are destroying our country through trillions of debt and killing hundreds of thousands through open borders. They are focused on killing our God-given rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness by replacing liberty with an equality of bondage. Their demonic presence knows the power of the spoken word of truth. This is why they persecute and ostracize those who speak God’s truth to put fear into those who want to speak truth. Their demonic presence must be resisted and beaten back or they will produce a tyrannical government such as China that will imprison and kill Christians.
Christians have the weapon to stop evils quest but do not proficiently know how to use God’s power that turns darkness to light. Sadly, today most of the body of Christ and their leaders are bowing to this tyranny by being silently inactive. Many wrongly believe Christianity is a submissive religion with hopeful speculation that expects no real sacrifice other than tithing and church involvement. Their reason for silence may come from their lack of faith in speaking the living word of God, the power of the Holy Spirit into darkness.
The living Spirit of God is the greatest power on earth, and our guide into all truth. The Holy Spirit leads and we follow through faith in Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts unbelievers through believers! Believers are God’s mouthpiece on earth. When Disciples speak and expose darkness with the word of truth, the power of the Spirit reinforces Disciples by “convicting the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment,” (John 16:8-11). This power is “The word of God …living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, (Hebrews 4:12). This is the mystery of God’s undeniable power supporting Disciples when speaking the living word of God into darkness.
Unbelievably most of the body of Christ and their leadership today are painfully mute. They cannot even call the darkness going on outside the church, evil from the pulpit. What in God’s name are they doing? Did not Jesus say, “…everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, unless his deeds should be exposed,” (John 3:20). Compellingly Paul wrote, “…have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them,” (Ephesians 5:11). Paul also instructed us to, “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil ” (Ephesians 6:10-11). He did not write, “Stay silent so you do not have to take up armor of God” or “If you feel like it and nobody will criticize you or the church, take up the armor of God.” No, the living word of God says, “Take up the whole armor of God,” (Ephesians 6:13). This is not suggested; it is commanded or Christians will come under judgement of Christ.
The danger of silent inaction can be calming and protective, like sitting by the fire on a cold winter day in a rocking chair. The motion keeps ourselves content, while doing nothing and going nowhere. The sad truth is silent inaction changes nothing, does not speak the living word of God, and is devoid of inspiring the life giving conviction of the Holy Spirit. Silence is where the lord of this world dwells convincing us to handle the word of God deceitfully. This enables us not to speak and expose the darkness in and around the church. We then, like today, stop representing the truth from the pulpit or in public because we fearfully and wrongly convince ourselves this is not our duty. We deceptively fail to expose and define darkness through the word of truth that no Christian church should ever ignore. This is the evil, like the local library sponsoring a homosexual drag queen show teaching and convincing our children that sexual perversion is normal. This silence is when the self-identified loving Church is speaking without speaking. They are publicly demonstrating they are no different from any other evil principalities who are all silent. This church leadership must not know “…if you warn the wicked person… from their evil ways …you will have saved yourself,” (Ezekiel 3:19). Paul confirm this when he wrote, “…I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not neglected to declare to you the whole counsel (truth) of God, (Acts 20:26-27). Paul even warned Timothy, “Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you,” (1 Timothy 4:16). Paul also wrote, “…since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech,” (2 Corinthians 3:12).
Why do we not have great boldness of speech? Silent inaction emotionally morphs into spiritual apathy which Paul calls the hidden things of shame. Spiritual apathy is indifference that justifies convincing ourselves we have reasons not to act. Sadly, apathy can push righteousness out of our minds. It is then we detour from what God commands to a course of self-justified inaction. This is where the priest and Levite hid their mercy in Christ’s story of the Good Samaritan. Christ exposed them when He said, “…which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?” The answer is, “He who showed mercy on him,” (Luke 10:36-37). The priest and Levite, walked around the challenge of showing mercy, and talked themselves into silent inaction and are now under judgement of Christ.
Silence is the cliff on which we teeter between evil and righteousness. It is the point where we decide how to respond. If we buy Satan’s deception, we are silently inactive. If we have faith in the power of the spoken living word of God, we speak and act. Paul, as an example, was hard pressed when he wrote, “I believe, therefore I speak, since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to Himself.” (2 Corinthians 4:13-14).
It is true we cannot always control our circumstances, but we can control how we biblically deal with them. It has been said, the same sunshine that melts butter hardens clay. The same circumstance that melts our tenacity can harden our resolve. To melt or harden depends on how we have been trained. Any training with a weapon has to be often and repetitive for us to be proficient.
When I was going through Army training, we were taught how to soldier and how to use our weapons.
Christian soldiers have an offensive weapon, the sword of the spirit, but spend every Sunday learning how to be pious Christians, filled with love. How often are Christians taught to use God’s offensive weapon to enable them “to stand against the wiles of the devil?” (Ephesians 6:11) Then how can one become a soldier for Christ when they have no weapon?
To be blessed Disciples must learn that silence hides the power of the light of Christ. “Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced the hidden things of shame (silence), not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, (action) but by manifestation of the truth (speaking and action as light in darkness) commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in (public) the sight of God. We must use our gifts, we are commissioned by Christ to do so,” (2 Corinthians 4:1-2).
Therefore, put on the ‘Whole Armor of God’ and use our offensive weapon. “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places,” (Ephesians 6:10-18).
